If you like watching top-of-line Teslas smoke much more expensive super cars in drag races, then I’ve got what you want — footage of a Tesla Model X P90D with Ludicrous Mode smoking (briefly) a Ferrari 458 Italia in a quarter-mile drag race.
The drag race footage is courtesy of Drag Times, which provided this introduction:
We have some great racing footage from the StreetCarDrags.com event last weekend with a Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous racing heads up against a Ferrari 458 Italia. While the instant torque and all wheel drive of the Model X catapults it off the line ahead of the Ferrari 458, the Italian supercar makes up some serious ground on it’s way trying to catch the Tesla before the end of the 1/4 mile.
It’s a close one with the winner being determined by a great reaction time by the driver of the Model X (ToTheFloor), take a look at the racing action below!
