  • 62 mile/ 100km range. 6 kwh battery. Top speed 50km. It is a town car. That battery might be worth only $1200. Well, I did my part in info gathering, somebody else needs to find the price.

  • 7,000 pounds. Plus – ^Price excludes mandatory battery hire from £45 per month, based on 4500 miles per year, 100 excess miles £3.75 including VAT. You will not own the battery.
I wonder if I can pick one up in Toronto and bring it back to Michigan?

  • What a piece of garbage. I thought we were done with G-Wiz type trash.

  • These little city runabouts need to decrease in price by about 50% before they’ll get much attention.
Why not just import some of the equivalent things from China?

  • Looks like the Solar electric powered ELF from Organic Transit. It only goes 25 MPH. It would be good for urban centers like San Francisco. Easy to park. It would be a good non polluting replacement for polluting cars. It could also replace big polluting SUV’s and sport pickup trucks. These big vehicles should be banned from the road, because usually only one person rides in them, they waste too much fuel, and they are dangerous to other vehicles in a crash. Electrification of SUV’s is also not the answer. We need to electrify small vehicles, not these larger ones.

    • That change could take years, but not a bad idea. However, it’s a much larger percentage change to go from 10 mpg to 11 mpg than it is to go from 35 to 37, so we still need to keep hybridizing the big cars Americans are buying now, IMO.
