Another JB Straubel Presentation — The Future of Transportation (Video)

April 25th, 2015 by

I shared a great JB Straubel presentation two days ago (after first sharing it in December), and it has been very popular. In case you missed that and are not aware, JB is a Tesla co-founder and its current CTO. He’s the #1 battery guy. Assuming you put Elon Musk as Tesla’s #1, I think you have to put JB as Tesla’s #2.

Below is another presentation from JB (a more recent on), followed by a long panel discussion. Others on the panel include a representative of Toyota (CTO of Toyota Motor Sales USA), a representative of Exxon (Manager for Environmental Policy & Planning), and the CEO and co-founder of Sidecar, Sunil Paul. Unfortunately, the video just focuses on JB during his presentation, not showing his slides, but his slidedeck is under the embedded video below. Enjoy!

is tryin' to help society help itself one word at a time. He spends most of his time here on CleanTechnica as its director and chief editor. He's also the CEO of Important Media. Zach is recognized globally as an electric vehicle, solar energy, and energy storage expert. He has presented about cleantech at conferences in India, the UAE, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Canada, and Curaçao. Zach has long-term investments in Tesla [TSLA] — after years of covering solar and EVs, he simply has a lot of faith in this company and feels like it is a good cleantech company to invest in. But he offers no investment advice and does not recommend investing in Tesla or any other company.
