Time for another quick rundown of the top 10 CleanTechnica stories from the past week. If you haven’t read these stories, get on it!

s-2013

1. The Solar Energy Revolution Everyone’s Ignoring… Is In Bangladesh (This story blew up on reddit, thanks to some anonymous CleanTechnica reader submitting it over there. It’s about to pass 80,000 views and is still pulling them in! Fun story too, imho.)

2. America Can Nearly Quadruple Its Renewable Electricity By 2030 (Another big reddit pop thanks to some reader submission, I presume, this story was still benefiting from a massive pop the week before last! Worth a read if you haven’t checked it out yet. And thanks to Roy for the great reporting!)

3. Minnesota Gets Ready To Launch Solar Highways (Leon’s first post on CleanTechnica was a blockbuster, and again, really excellent reporting. Way to start things off, Leon!)

4. BMW Wants To Bring Carbon Fiber Costs Down 90% (Carbon fiber costs getting cut 90% by BMW?!?! Yeah, that’s big news. Good writeup by Chris too. This post also seemed get a bit of reddit love. I won’t complain.)

5. US Energy Efficiency Ranks Released: How’d Your State Do? (Silvio, as always, wrote up an excellent piece on an important topic. This piece somehow got a ton of Facebook love. So… how’d your state rank?)

6. Siemens: New EV Motor+Inverter Combination Cuts Costs (Interesting development, but the commenters didn’t seem very impressed, and it’s not real clear who Siemens’ customers for this product might be.)

7. Ford Focus Electric 2015 Gets Big Price Cut — Down To $29,995 From $35,995 (A big price cut on the Focus Electric finally makes this a competitive model. Good reporting to put it in context. I’m curious to see if Ford really sells this thing now.)

8. More On Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Myths (I finally got around to sharing a long email thread busting more hydrogen fuel cell vehicle myths. It’s a long read, but a worthwhile read, imho.)

9. New 3D-Printed Battery Packs Graphene Punch (3D printing and graphene in one story? Enough said.)

10. Shot Of Adrenalin For Super-Hot Solar Market: Vanadium Flow Batteries (Tina has a fun story on vanadium flow batteries, which definitely seem to have a place in the growing energy storage market. I followed up with an exclusive video on a vanadium redox flow battery company, but that apparently didn’t break into the top 10.)
