Enviable Leaf MarketingWhat’s one of the best ways to advertise a Nissan LEAF to owners of gas-powered vehicles?

Tell them how much less it would cost them to get around if they had one.

Sounds a bit obvious, I guess — and most everything in the world depends primarily on good execution, not on ideas — but, still, nice to see it put into action. That’s exactly what Nissan has done with its rather clever new advertising approach whereby users of MapQuest are shown the estimated fuel cost savings that would be had if they were driving a LEAF.

As said before — simple and obvious, but seems like a very effective approach.

The question is: who still uses MapQuest?
