During my January trip to the UAE for Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week*, a few other bloggers and I got to walk through GE’s fresh and clean** (just-opened) ecomagination Center. Located in Masdar City, this is GE’s only ecomagination center to date, despite the program being massively well funded and hugely successful.

During our stroll, we learned a bit about smart grid awesomeness, tremendously energy-efficient lighting, GE’s brilliant wind turbines, super energy-efficient jet engines, the “Industrial Internet,” and plenty more. Here are three videos from my stroll through the ecomagination Center:

Industrial Internet + GE Jet Engines

Smart Grid

Due to the echo, this one’s a bit hard to hear. It actually wasn’t much better in person.

GE Brilliant Wind Turbine Benefits

Same echo problem with this one:

*My trip to Abu Dhabi for the second annual Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week was covered my Masdar. That said, I was not required to write about or film anything and I’ve only covered stories that I found especially interesting.

**If that line made you think of one of Outkast’s best songs, take a music break.
