43 Tesla Model S’s Circling A Racetrack (VIDEO)
Chris DeMorro of CleanTechnica sister site Gas2 yesterday posted the below video of 43 Tesla Model S’s circling a racetrack. I’m not really sure what to make of it, but it’s fun to watch. Chris has some thoughts on electric versus gas-powered racing that some of you may find useful. Car racing has always been one of the most boring sports in my opinion*, so my only fascination with that is how people can actually enjoying cars racing around a track for hours… well, as well as the city planning ramifications (yes, that is exciting!). Anyway, here’s the video of 43 beautiful and super safe Tesla Model S’s circling a track:
*I will admit that I was a big fan of dirt-bike racing when I was a young teenager, but, you know, there were jumps and interesting tracks and people flying through the air and stuff.

The video would be best without music . . . it takes away from the roar of the vehicles!
So, TURN THE MUSAK OFF! I’d like to hear what they actually sound like going around the track. The clip is supposed to be about “silence the track”, so someone decides to dump inane, elevator music over the clip. Frustrating!
haha… i know. not sure what was up with that.
