If you haven’t heard, President Obama is giving his annual State of the Union address tomorrow (Tuesday, January 25). The next day, Energy Secretary Steven Chu will host the Department of Energy’s first Energy Matters live chat. The online town hall meeting will start at 12:45pm EST (Wednesday, January 26).

Yes, Steven Chu will answer question from the online audience (as well as an in-person audience) live. Sounds exciting.

The Energy Matters live chat on Wednesday will start the year-long Energy Matters series in which Steven Chu or other members of the DOE will talk about issues the public is interested in hearing more about and will answer questions from citizens live.

How do you submit your questions into the pool?

Email them to newmedia@hq.doe.gov, post them on DOE’s Facebook page, or tweet @energy with the hashtag #chu. I don’t know which option will give your question the best chance of being answered. Maybe try them all?
