Base Jumping off Wind Turbines [VIDEO]

Apparently, the growing prevalence of wind turbines is a new extreme sport (or, maybe more accurately, a new variation of an existing extreme sport called base jumping).

Not sure if this should be considered a benefit or a downside of a growing wind energy industry at this point. (Is it safer or more dangerous than what these guys and girls would be doing otherwise?)

Here’s a glance at what’s going on out there:
