The Global e-Mobility Funding Report for the third quarter of 2019 showed a total of $2.7 billion raised by 45 electric vehicle (EV) companies across the world. This funding amount is even higher in reality since another 18 EV-related companies didn’t disclose any financial details.
Madrid, Spain, will soon be the site of a 500-strong fleet of Renault Zoe EVs as part of the launch of a new carsharing service named ZITY by the operator Ferrovial, an email sent to CleanTechnica has revealed.
Renault and Ferrovial have begun a joint venture and created Zity, a fresh electrified carsharing service that will launch in October. The first fleet of electrified cars — 500 Renault ZOEs, to be exact — will be located within Madrid, Spain (the M-30 Beltway and in some adjoining areas).
