What Changed

What Changed In The EV Industry In June & July?

I moved from Europe to the US at the end of June, so ended up skipping my monthly updates on what changed in the electric vehicle (EV) and solar energy industries. Now that I’m back at it this month, I’m combining big news from June and July. Enjoy this EV news roundup and let us know in the comments if you think I’m missing any biggies.

What Changed In The Electric Vehicle Industry In April?

Our “What Changed … ?” feature tries to cut through the “noise” (that is, review articles, op-eds, superfluous analyses, announcements about the not-so-near future, fun anecdotes, etc.) in order to highlight significant news in the EV industry, solar energy industry, and energy storage industry each month. Here’s an update on what was actually new in the electric vehicle world in April.

What Changed In The Electric Vehicle Market In November?

As part of our new “What Changed … ?” series, here’s a rundown of what changed in November in the EV market. Since this is a new series, I’ll reiterate what I wrote in the solar update (changing a few words): “To further clarify, this article doesn’t include interesting op-eds about solar and it doesn’t include news that we thought was worth covering but wasn’t really a change in the industry (like specific projects or reports — well, for the most part). It covers significant shifts, trends, and new opportunities in the solar market.”

Also, this update excludes battery stories since I covered EV batteries this month in “What Changed In The EV Battery Market In November?“

What Changed In The EV Market In October?

We published 509 articles in October. It’s rather hard to read every single one — I’m not sure if anyone does, but I can tell you that I don’t have time for that and I’m the director and chief editor of the site! We publish weekly and monthly roundups of the most popular articles, but I’ve felt like something was still lacking. So, I’ve decided to jump into a couple of new monthly reports — one for electric vehicles (this one) and one for solar energy + stationary energy storage.
