Elon Musk: You should be failing. “If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.”

February 1st, 2020 | by Matt Pressman

Epic fail. That's what first crossed my mind as I watched the window break (twice!) during Tesla's Cybertruck launch. Instead, the unfortunate incident brought immediate worldwide attention to Tesla's new truck — mainstream press, social media, and (of course) meme makers all gobbled it up. Fast forward, and Elon Musk's crazy concept for the Cybertruck is now considered genius

Tesla's Q4 2019 earnings call sent the stock into orbit during after-hours trading and in subsequent days. For a quick overview of the company's financials, check the source — Tesla's official Q4 and FY2019 update. Meanwhile, I was furiously taking notes during the company's conference call, which had engaging questions from retail investors (via the innovative SAY.com platform), and assorted Wall Street analysts.

This is your guide to part 2 of the Elon Musk interview done by Third Row Tesla. There isn't really any need to read about or watch part 1 before part 2, but if you want to, here is the link to my article on part 1 of the interview. I think they both stand on their own, so you can read, listen to, and/or watch them in either order

LEGO Tesla Cybertruck With LEGO Elon Musk & Franz May Be Coming

January 28th, 2020 | by Johnna Crider

Last year, the idea of a LEGO Tesla Cybertruck was submitted to LEGO Ideas. It has reached its goal of 10,000 votes, so it may actually become part of the LEGO family. There is now also a new, updated version that includes Elon Musk and Franz von Holzhausen. Franz even comes with a sledgehammer and one steel ball, and seems to have a slightly sinister grin on his face

Tesla Cybertruck Replicas Are Here!

January 22nd, 2020 | by Johnna Crider

Tesla Cybertruck replicas are everywhere. Tesla's Cybertruck isn't in production yet, but we are seeing it everywhere. Replicas, printouts, even photoshopped art. It seems the first Cybertruck replica was seen in Russia, which heralded the beginning of a trend. The Cybertruck replica was first seen in Khimki, which is just outside of Moscow

Wall Street ♥ Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla stock [TSLA] has risen by more then $200 per share since the company unveiled the Tesla Cybertruck. Clearly, that means Wall Street is in love with the Tesla Cybertruck. Correlation = causation

Tesla & Robotaxi Economics: The Network That Optimizes The Machine

January 9th, 2020 | by Rahul Sonnad

There is a long-standing argument about whether Tesla is a car company or a tech company. This argument is typically made in the context of how Wall Street should value the company. If Tesla is just a new kind of carmaker, it should be valued at something significantly less than its annual revenue — maybe 25% to 50%, like Ford and GM. Alternatively, if Tesla is a tech company, then it could be valued significantly higher. Google, for example, is trading at about 6 times its revenues today, Facebook at 8, Microsoft at 9, and Salesforce at 10 times. Tesla trades at around 3 times its revenues with some profits, while Uber and Lyft trade around 4 times revenues and have never been profitable

Tesla Roadster to 2012 Model S to 2022 Cybertruck (Reflections & Videos)

January 5th, 2020 | by Cynthia Shahan

I became more aware of electric cars around 2013, but it was a few years later when conversations popped up with more people who were interested in electric cars, and in particular Tesla (and Elon Musk). Then, from diverse directions, old and young mentioned Tesla. I began sensing the rise of a new kind of techno folk hero
