Tesla Software V10 Wins The Internet

I got to enjoy Tesla vehicle software V10 10 days ago, and I have been suffering ever since while I have waited for my car to get the upgrade. The banquet of wonderful, beautiful, thrilling, boring, and fun new features perhaps makes this Tesla’s best vehicle software update yet. I already wrote about most of the improvements in that previous article. However, there are a few updates I didn’t note (or know about) at the time, so here are a few updates (regarding the updates):

Tesla Software V10: Everything We Know

Tesla’s V10 software update was teased recently thanks to a flood of information flowing from Elon Musk’s Twitter feed. According to Musk, the timeframe for V10 “depends on how release to owners with early access goes, but hopefully wide release by end of August.” Early access members have been given an early August release date.

What Are Tesla’s Short Sellers Thinking Now?

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, you have to give the short sellers credit for their dedication. Hedge fund manager Mark Spiegel even follows the market while taking a bath — two computer screens perched near the tub keep him apprised of the latest ill winds. Much of his time is spent sitting at his dining room table, sending a steady stream of tweets explaining why Tesla will eventually crash and burn, making Spiegel an even wealthier man.

LeEco & Faraday Future Founder Jia Yueting Skips Out On Chinese Authorities

Things are not looking any better for electric vehicle (EV) maker Faraday Future (FF) now that its CEO and co-founder, also LeEco’s Founder, defied an order from Chinese authorities to come back and explain himself for his lack of financial performance. Jia Yueting was once portrayed as a rising Chinese star (and billionaire) potentially following in the footsteps of Elon Musk.
