South Korean automobile giant Hyundai has announced plans to launch nine new models in India over the next three years, including at least one electric vehicle.
The Hyundai Kona electric SUV will have two battery sizes and a maximum range of 210 miles. It will be available next year.
Hyundai says it will bring 8 electric car models to market over the next few years including a long range luxury sedan for its Genesis division in 2021 and an electric Kona SUV in 2018.
