New technical specifications for Formula 1 racing require vehicles in the pit to operate in electric only mode. Drayson Racing Technologies and HaloIPT are working together to offer completely electric vehicles through electrified racetrack roadways.
GE Energy Industrial Solutions and Lowe’s have announced they will partner to offer consumers the fast-charging GE WattStation Wall Mount Electric Vehicle Charging Station. The announcement was made today at the Plug-In 2011 Conference and Exposition.
Although Americans overwhelmingly support renewable energy, it’s usually much harder to find a way to support the development of renewables close to home. This innovative proposal offered last session in the Minnesota state legislature could change that.
Google announced today that it is investing $280 million in a rooftop solar power company, California-based SolarCity. Included with the announcement was the short YouTube video above.
Of course, this is just the latest announcement of many demonstrating Google’s tremendous investment and belief in truly clean, renewable energy.
