Steve Hanley, Larry Evans, and I sat down yesterday to talk about some of the hottest stories of the past week. We discussed the Tesla Cybercab (and some of our skepticism about it being the big hit Tesla wants it to be); the slow start to EV sales in China and what the causes could be; Ford & GM’s historical EV hesitancy, push & pullback, and overall failure to lead on EVs; and more.
I know some people have asked for a transcript for these videos, or a bit more in text about them. Regarding the transcript, YouTube has that built in if you are interested. Just go under the video and click “Show Transcript.” Overall, though, we are bringing a different medium by just chatting about the things we write about, which does bring us into different places at times, but it’s hard to think about summarizing these further beyond the articles we already write about these topics. If you enjoy listening to us chatter, great! If not, no need to consume the video content in addition to the written content. Either way, thank you, and we hope you do enjoy what you read and watch!
