Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year is today, February 17. However, the celebration extends further. Public schools are out this week in NYC and there are multiple celebrations in the city. The traditional Chinese New Year greeting above (Gong Xi Fa Cai / Gong Hei Fat Choy) wishes people prosperity and happiness. Or as comedian Ronny Chieng puts it, “I hope you get rich.”

However, the sentiment is inclusive and meant to be spread. As EVs and clean technology have their biggest benefits in their use, may the money being saved add to customer prosperity with the better user experience increasing happiness. And may overall clean technology adoption make the world happier and more prosperous.

From what I understand, the Year of the Fire Horse symbolizes energy, boldness, accelerating progress, and change. A time for breakthroughs and transformations, fueled by intense energy and creativity. As the saying goes, “the Snake clears the path, and the Horse carries you forward.”

For everyone traveling for the holiday, I hope your journey is safe and cleaner than the year before.

And may this be a year of bold, transformative change and prosperity for clean technology.
