Chevy is on a mission to spread holiday cheer, connect with customers, and help make family memories that will last a lifetime – in and out of their Chevy vehicles. That’s why for five years running, Chevy’s “Holiday Card to America” campaign has warmed hearts coast to coast. And this year, the team went even bigger.

Teaming up with local dealers, Chevy hit the road to bring holiday cheer to five cities across the country with the Holiday Magic Tour — a convoy of decked-out Silverado EVs driving nearly 3,000 miles across America to bring festive fun to families in local communities.

The convoy started in San Diego, traveling to Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, and ending in Chevy’s hometown: Detroit, where it put on the largest drone show the city had ever seen.

Each event hosted hundreds of people, many of whom were longtime Chevy fans, and offered an unforgettable experience. A dazzling 1,000-drone show lit up the night sky, with narration and images featuring favorite holiday traditions, drawing plenty of “oohs” and “ahhs” from the crowd. A fan favorite was the drone-animated image of a vintage Chevy Suburban in the sky hauling the holiday tree home. Fun fact: most of the drones were charged up by the Silverado EV’s offboard power.

Guests also enjoyed holiday-themed treats and activities, including hot cocoa and face painting, adding to the festive atmosphere. A full lineup of Chevy’s latest products — from the new Bolt to the Silverado ZR2 — were on display. Attendees were impressed, leading to comments like “I loved getting to see all the new vehicles in person,” and “I really want a Chevy now!

Community at the heart: Chevy isn’t just about cars — it’s about people. At every stop, the Marines and Toys for Tots collected donations to spread joy to families in need. In Atlanta, Chevy donated over 1,000 toys to the local chapter.

An attendee said this event shows that GM is a “company that cares,” and another said their favorite part of the event was the generosity toward local communities.
