XPENG didn’t have a blockbuster growth months for once in November, but its sales did rise 19% year over year. It was actually November of last year that XPENG’s sales first jumped up a lot year over year. So, it’s going to be a bit harder now to have those huge growth months … unless XPENG is able to launch very popular new models or get a lot of growth from new country markets.

Looking across the whole first 11 months of the year, XPENG’s sales were up a whopping 156%! That was from reaching 391,937 total sales. XPENG won’t get to half a million this year, but maybe in 2026?

While most of the growth was occurring in XPENG’s home market of China, it is also seeing strong overseas sales growth. From January to November 2025, the company achieved 39,773 registrations, which was 95% more than in January–November 2024.

XPENG is also working on growing its software and non-vehicle business. “In November, XNGP achieved an urban driving monthly active user penetration rate of 84%. In late December, XPENG will invite users in China to participate in a pilot program of VLA 2.0,” the company notes. “On November 5, XPENG successfully hosted its 2025 XPENG AI Day event, unveiling a suite of groundbreaking ‘Physical AI’ applications, including XPENG VLA 2.0, Robotaxi, and Next-Gen IRON humanoid robot. These AI applications are expected to enter mass production in 2026.” Will these be moneymakers for XPENG? I’m personally skeptical about all of the humanoid robots at the moment, but we’ll be tracking what XPENG does and see if it can have some success there. And the same goes for the small flying aircraft.
