Tesla CEO, Chief Architect, and cofounder Elon Musk (also founder of SpaceX and Chairman of SolarCity) will reportedly be making an appearance on the popular American television program “The Big Bang Theory” on November 19th at 8PM eastern time (on CBS).

The episode in question will be a Thanksgiving special, and will apparently involve Elon Musk working at a soup kitchen along with some of the show’s main characters. (Apparently having a good time from the looks of it.)

Elon musk big bang

I guess this is a good sign. In the modern world, being featured on a sitcom is probably one of the best markers for whether or not someone or something has entered the mainstream consciousness. Maybe Tesla will sell some more Model Ss or Model Xs because of this. 😉

These pictures are a bit humorous looking, though, I’d say — the expressions on Musk’s face are a bit hard to decipher. I wonder what he’s thinking. (I suppose that some of those reading this will probably know whether he’s a fan of the TV show or not, and whether or not that’s why he’s doing the guest appearance. Is he?)

(Tip of the hat here to “iorchii” on the Tesla Motors Club forum for bringing this to our attention.)
