Those who were enthralled by the idea of Tesla Motors electric vehicles (EVs) being made into toys — via the Hot Wheels and Matchbox platforms — will be happy to know that those collaborations have continued to move along.

On that note… I direct your attention to this recent video/tweet concerning the Tesla Model S 1:64 featuring the designer of the model, Ryu Asada.

This looking for more after that one will probably also enjoy seeing this as well (a full-size Tesla on one of the Hot Wheels tracks):

Those interested will be happy to hear that the Hot Wheels Model S 1:64 is now hitting the stores. So those of you who want one can head down to your nearest big box store and probably find one to pick up.

As we reported previously, Matchbox is releasing one as well — with a somewhat different “tone” to it, for those who prefer that side of the proverbial table.
