Tesla Model 3 Golden Ticket Winners Get Trip To Gigafactory Grand Opening

Among the ~400,000 Tesla Model 3 reservation holders, Tesla decided to have some fun and randomly select 12 to attend the Gigafactory Grand Opening on July 29 in Reno, Nevada.
Extending the fun Tesla loves to have with its workers, owners, and even robots, Tesla has named these 12 lucky winners “Golden Ticket Winners” — yep, that’s yet another Tesla reference to an iconic film. As you can see in the pic on the right, from lucky winner Joël Staub, Tesla is covering flights (economy class), ground transport, and accommodation for the 12 Golden Ticket winners.
Man, those must be 12 extra-thrilled Model 3 reservation holders, and another 12 thrilled +1s.
