Will We Have A Blitzzcar Everywhere Soon?

I was very happy to announce blitzzcar as a CLEANTECH REVOLUTION TOUR → Berlin partner a few moments ago, that it would be bringing a Tesla Model S or two for the entire weekend, and that Germany Station Manager Helge Hinrichs will be providing a presentation on EV Saturday. But what the heck is blitzzcar?
blitzzcar offers a handful of different Tesla Model S trims, and actually has several services.
For one, the company offers “blitzzCall,” via which the company will bring a car to you or pick it up for you at different desired times. You can have the car for a few hours or days, and the blitzzcar team will provide dropoffs/pickups at homes, offices, restaurants, vegan ice cream parlors, etc.
As part of the Crowd investors program, there’s also a blitzzCrowdDay option that offers better daily and monthly rates. blitzzCrowdDay offers unlimited mileage, free fuel, and full insurance. (Quite an attractive package.)
In addition to all of this, the company has the blitzzDrive program, which includes:
- Briefing and slalom course
- Driving technique 1 (cornering)
- Driving technique 2 (behavior in case of obstacles)
- Handling course (long straight, different curves, slope and slope) — translation not great here
- Debriefing drinks & Takeaway
A Crowd investor gets to take this course for free. Otherwise, the cost is €99 if you bring your own Tesla, or €199 if you use one of blitzzcar’s.
Fun stuff. I hope to see blitzzcar quickly expand beyond Germany & Austria, or at least inspire other such startups in other countries.
