ATX 8080 From Austin Electric Powersports — All-Electric American-Made Motorcycle Going On Sale Later This Month

Those on the lookout for a new American-made, all-electric bike may be interested to know that just such a motorcycle will be hitting the market later this month. The ATX 8080 by Austin Electric Powersports (AEPS), as it’s known, will apparently have a first run limited to only 500 units, so those interested may want to take a closer look sooner rather than later.

As mentioned above, the motorcycle is made in the US (or Texas, to be exact… for those who identify that as their country of origin rather than the US 😀 ). As the ATX 8080 is an all-electric bike, it’s of course very quiet, emissions-free, and doesn’t rely on a complex design with lots of moving parts. As a result, maintenance is greatly minimized.

A final note: for every 50 units sold, AEPS will be donating one to a veteran through the Wounded Warriors program. Hard not to love that.
