It was just a few weeks ago that we got the first spy pics of a Tesla Model X beta testing. It was painted black with minimal camouflage and I thought it looked hot. Some more spy pics have just surfaced of a white Model X, also with minimal camouflage. I have to admit that I’m siding with Chris and his “meh” reaction now. Or, as Chris stated in his new post about the new spy pics, “I am going to reserve my final judgement until the Model X has been fully revealed.”

I have long thought the Model X would come along and blow people away. Now I’m a bit nervous. However, I’m still assuming the special features delaying an unveiling until deliveries begin and “the nicest second row seats you’ve ever seen in any car ever” (Elon Musk quote) will result in a “Wow” effect. But I guess the question nowadays is, “how much?” If the effect is just “Wow,” and not “WOW,” expect the stock price to drop… (if that matters to you at all, that is).

Nonetheless, with unmatchable performance in the SUV/CUV category (come on, that’s a given), amazing efficiency, superb usefulness, falcon-wing doors, and all the cool stuff that comes with a Tesla, I don’t think there’s any vehicle in this category that will compete with the X.

Anyway, for now, thanks to the people snapping the spy pics!
