With the  rise of digital marketing and social media, the practice of content marketing–or providing useful information about a product with the intention of influencing customer behavior–has become increasingly more important, especially for solar companies.

Content marketing empowers solar marketers to use online content and become their own publishers, interacting with customers as a source of information, not just product. Websites, social media accounts, blogs, newsletters, photo essays, white papers, videos–all these things add up to create opportunities for companies to distinguish themselves from  competitors and build relationships with potential customers.

That’s why I’m especially excited to be participating in a content marketing webinar for solar companies, sponsored by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), today from 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m., and I hope you’ll watch live via the embedded video above. I’ll be joined by Susanna Murley and Kenny Gayles from SEIA, and solar marketer Tor “Solar Fred” Valenza.

In this webinar, we will discuss how companies can use online tools to provide customers with useful information about solar. We will use real world examples to show how solar companies have used content marketing to their advantage and give practical tools for measuring success. To participate in the live chat, go to seia.org/content-marketing

Hope you enjoy the show!
