Geely Xingyuan EV Reaches 500,000 Deliveries in Just 14 Months!
There are many hot, fun, attractive, exciting, competitive electric cars on the Chinese auto market. However, there are none hotter than the Geely Geome Xingyuan this year. Yes, passing up the Tesla Model Y, the Wuling HongGuang Mini EV, and all of the BYD models on the list, the Xingyuan is the top selling electric vehicle in the biggest EV market in the world (by far).
So, while it is amazing, it’s not shocking to find out the model achieved 500,000 sales in just 14 months.
After logging 44,239 deliveries in November, its sixth straight month with 40,000+ sales a month, the Xingyuan reached this milestone.
There are many electric vehicle models that will never reach 500,000 sales. So, this milestone shouldn’t be minimized, even if it’s easy to lose perspective in the midst of gigantic milestones from BYD and Leapmotor.
A new 2026 version of the EV was launched in October at a ridiculously low price of RMB 65,800 ($9,360). At that price, being a clearly cool, good looking electric crossover, how could one resist?
Here are more details on the 2026 Xingyuan:
- 4,135 mm length
- 1,805 mm width
- 1,570 mm height
- 2,650 mm wheelbase
- 58 kW or 85 kW motor
- 30 or 40 kWh LFP battery, providing 310 km (193 miles) or 410 km (255 miles) of range.
