See The Tesla Cybertruck In All Its Splendor On Jay Leno’s Garage
After frequent teases over the past couple of weeks, CNBC have today released the full segment of the Tesla Cybertruck appearing on the show Jay Leno’s Garage. We get some new angles and glimpses of exterior and interior details in full daylight, and can see the Cybertruck’s impressive ‘greenhouse’ for the first time.
Other than giving us a closer look at the Tesla Cybertruck than we’ve seen before, there aren’t any new technical details beyond what was already released back at the reveal event in November 2019. However, the segment was shot mainly in full daylight conditions, allowing us the clearest view yet of many small details such as headlights, wheels, tires, steering wheel, and the rear loading bed with its motorized cover.
Especially noticeable is the huge amount of light and visibility from within the cabin from the large side windows as well as from the huge panoramic roof (the ‘greenhouse’), which Jay remarks upon.
There’s been some back and forth in recent months over whether the November 2019 version of the Tesla Cybertruck might see the overall size reduced by 3% to 5% or so.
The Jay Leno’s Garage segment was filmed back in late January, with images of the film shoot shared on twitter at the time:
