We’ll probably have to wait a bit to see what general used prices end up like, but this is interesting news for those in the market for a used electric car … further options beyond the ubiquitous Nissan Leaf EV and Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
Green Car Reports provides more: “Now, there’s at least one catch: the 500e was only sold in California and Oregon, so Fiat dealers outside those two states will know little or nothing about the electric 500 variant. While we could imagine some enterprising entrepreneur buying up the electric Fiats and bringing them to electric-car fans in other states, the service issue remains a risk.”
Zach and Kyle seemed to like the Fiat 500e a great deal on their test drives. The car is certainly on the small side — including storage and seating — but it is apparently quite fun to drive.
Anyone reading this interested in getting one of these used Fiat 500es? Or already have one and have comments to make?
