Elon Musk: New Easter Egg For Model S Coming Soon

Following on the great ‘success’ of Tesla’s most recent Model S ‘Easter Egg’ — which allows finders to transform the display graphic of the Model S system into the famous Esprit used by James Bond, and bought by Elon Musk at auction for £650,000 — a new one is already on the way.

That’s the latest news from Elon Musk, but who knows what kind of timetable that actually entails. 🙂 This one will reportedly be easier to find than the 007 one, so I suppose that we’ll probably know soon enough what it is.

Hmm…. Wonder what it will be. What do you think? Maybe something to do with the upcoming unveiling of the Model X?

On the subject of the Model X, what certainly appears to be a white Model X was recently filmed driving around in Palo Alto, and posted on YouTube (of course). Considering that the video has already racked up many hundreds of thousands of views, I’d say that there is substantial interest in Tesla’s upcoming electric SUV. Hopefully the official unveil & delivery isn’t that far off.

Those interested in trying out the aforementioned James Bond Lotus Esprit submarine Easter Egg need not do much. It’s as simple as typing in “007” on the access code prompt screen that comes up after holding down the Tesla logo for ~4 seconds.
