By John Perlin

I gave a lecture in March at the University of California, San Diego, on the evolution of solar architecture and technology over the millennia, based on my recent book, Let It Shine, starting with the Neolithic Chinese reckoning of the sun’s path throughout the year and how they made use of that knowledge to keep their homes warm in winter and cool in summer and concluding the talk with the development of photovoltaics over the last 140 years. Adisia Ziric of Solar PV.TV attended and found the lecture of such interest that she asked to interview me for the video below, now featured on CleanTechnica.
