Those of you who have heard of the new Plugless (Evatran) wireless charging system for the Tesla Model S and have considered eventually purchasing one may want to take a look at the rather in-depth article recently posted on the company’s website showing the installation of a system at the high-end auto shop Rick’s Performance in Pleasanton, California.
Along with its local joint-venture partner Zhejiang VIE Science and Technology Company, Evatran Group (Plugless) recently demonstrated its wireless electric vehicle charging solution on a JAC iEV6S outfitted with the tech at the Shanghai Automechanika automotive trade show.
The soon-to-be-opened residential luxury apartment tower 500 Walnut, located in Philadelphia, will be home to the first wireless induction charging system for electric vehicles in a residential building in the US, following the beginning of occupancy in early 2017, according to an email sent to CleanTechnica.
