The Music City Center received two awards during the 2020 IMPACT Leadership Conference on January 30. The awards were the Overall Highest Score Award and the Carbon Emissions Reduction Award.
The TRUE Zero Waste rating system is a compliment to the LEED green building rating system, and helps businesses and facilities define, pursue and achieve their zero waste goals. TRUE focuses on helping businesses, industrial sectors and schools quantify their performance and find additional ways to move toward zero waste. There are currently 88 certified facilities including Tesla, Microsoft, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and more.
