The Tesla Model X Raven could have a range increase with the new 2021 models.
Norwegian road assistance company NAF has completed the world’s longest EV range test. The company tested 29 of Norway’s most popular EVs. They tested the actual range in the summer, what happens when EVs go into power-saving mode, and how they charge in heat degrees.
Elon Musk says the latest Tesla Model S Long Range Plus can travel 390 miles or more on a single charge. The range of the Model X has also gone up to over 350 miles.
Tesla has improved the efficiency of its Model S and X vehicles, via new motors, wheel bearings, tires and more, giving the Model S Long Range variant 370 miles of range (EPA rating).
Tesla moments ago rolled out a change to its online vehicle configuration tool for the Model S and Model X. As Tesla CEO Elon Musk implied last year, the company has done away with any mention of the battery size in the vehicle name or description. Instead, they are describing the vehicle options in terms of the thing we care about — range. As a special bonus, the pricing on every build in the lineup has been dropped a bit, giving buyers a bit more bang for their buck across the board.
