Over 200 Orders Placed For Teslas In Russia

About 236 orders were recently placed for Teslas in Russia, which would be about an 80% increase in the current fleet if they are all fulfilled. The total there now is approximately 300, even though there are no Tesla stores or charging stations. The orders were placed on the website of Svyaznoy, a company that is now working with the Moscow Tesla Club to import more Teslas.

Tesla Model Y — How Should Tesla Proceed?

As you may have heard, one of my questions for Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the last Tesla conference call concerned Tesla Model Y. Elon had previously tweeted that they’d unveil the Model Y on March 15. Given how the Model 3 reservations turned out (I’ll get to that in a moment), I was curious if Tesla was planning a significant departure from that with the Model Y.

It has stunned the world, and the response from the financial press has been embarrassing — to put it nicely.

One matter very frequently ignored is what an exclusive share in private Tesla should be worth. This is different from what a share in public TSLA is worth right now or should be worth right now.
