I recently received a set of Tesla Model 3 sunshades/heatshields from EV Annex to review. I thought I was just getting a front and back sunshade/heatshield, but it turns out they provide the full Iron Man body armor for every little window in the car. The central element of the Tesla Model 3 — in more ways than one — is its touchscreen. If you’re like me, you’re probably a little concerned about damaging that thing. So, I was happy to get the opportunity to review a new Model 3 touchscreen protector from Launch.

In other words, owners of no other vehicles profess to love their vehicles as much as Model 3 owners do.
The most popular CleanTechnica articles in January were, as it turns out, led by a bit of an unusual post for us. While it was a genuine list of the “worst things” about owning a Tesla Model 3 (from my perspective), there are buckets of humor enveloping it all.
Hitting the 25,000 km (15,534 mile) mark in 8 months seems like a good excuse to let you all in on how things are working out for me and my Tesla Model 3.
I’ll admit it — I’m super eager for the first edition of Tesla “Full Self Driving” to roll out. Before critics start freaking out, I should make clear that I don’t expect to nap, work, or watch movies while using initial iterations of Full Self Driving. I currently use Autopilot a ton, and I’m well aware that it is handling most of the driving just fine while I’m essentially a simple passenger, but I do keep my hands on the wheel and constantly scan the road like a pretend driver fully focused on acting out the role in search of an Oscar (or at least a Teen Choice Award).
While the Tesla Model 3 is essentially the most complete car on the market (imho), there are places and ways that it can be improved. In many cases, that’s where our favorite aftermarket suppliers come in.
One top product it’s nice to have — especially here in hot-as-hell Florida — is a good cooler that fits the car well.
We spend a lot of time in the car, and a lot of that time involves actually doing stuff, not just driving. That leads into the thing I love about our Tesla Model 3 that gets very little attention — and when it does get attention, often gets negative attention!
We all knew this day would come, and for better or worse, that day is here. For Tesla owners who purchased their vehicles on or after July 1, 2018, Tesla is now starting to charge $9.99 per month for data connectivity for a select set of features bundled into what it calls Premium Connectivity at the end of this year.
These things are nice.
