There is a new Tesla quietly cruising around the UK — dreadfully quiet, in fact. Coleman Milne, a Bolton-based funeral vehicle provider, wanted to cater to those who do want to go out serenely.

Not that long ago, the world’s first Tesla hearse popped onto the scene. Tesla hearse? Yes, someone had the brilliant idea to turn a Tesla into a funeral car. I wanted to capture the car in person and talk more to the company and driver behind it, so I took a trip to Den Haag (The Hague) for a visit. Well, actually, I was in Holland for rEVolution 2017 and a great cleantech leader (CleanTechnica reader and now friend) from the Netherlands lined up the visit. Of course, I was certainly thrilled with the idea.
