South Korean solar manufacturer Hanwha Q CELLS announced its latest quarterly earnings this week, revealing that the company returned to profitability in the first quarter of 2018 after a net loss in the previous quarter, but tempered the news by downgrading its 2018 shipping guidance.

First Solar Starts Off 2018 With A Bang

Leading US solar manufacturer First Solar published its first-quarter earnings report late last month, depicting a strong start to the year with increased sales of $567 million and the commencement of Series 6 module production in April which, in turn, led to the company's announcement of a new solar manufacturing plant in Perrysburg, Ohio.
