Iowa energy provider MidAmerican Energy has announced this week plans to build two new wind farms with a combined capacity of 550 megawatts (MW) in Adair County which will be a part of the company’s previously-announced 2 gigawatt (GW) Wind XI project.
MidAmerican Energy Company announced this week that it had completed two new wind farms in the state of Iowa totaling 338 megawatts, both of which are part of the mammoth 2 gigawatt Wind XI economic development project announced in early 2016.
