On a recent return trip from the Sacramento area on Interstate 80, I needed to add about 20 miles of range to my electric vehicle (EV) to make sure I reached home with plenty of range to spare. I most likely would’ve made it home without adding any additional range, but the Tesla navigation routed me to a Supercharger location at the Vacaville outlet malls.
