Governor Cuomo and his team are stepping up efforts to accelerate production and use of solar and renewable energy across the state. Initiatives enacted in recent years are also coming to fruition: the NYSERDA and PSC recently announced an initial $30 million of annual funding to 15 local businesses to carry out large-scale solar energy projects in New York City and the lower Hudson Valley.
