Pipeline giant Kinder Morgan is cutting a 400-mile line across the middle of Texas, digging up vast swaths of private land for its planned Permian Highway Pipeline. The project is ceaseless, continuing through the coronavirus pandemic. Landowner Heath Frantzen said that dozens of workers have showed up to his ranch in Fredericksburg, even as public health officials urged people to stay at home.
Tesla’s rocket problem is that Elon Musk’s companies are simply great with challenging stuff, but challenged greatly by simple stuff. Well, that may be a bit too cliche — his companies are also good at simple stuff — but the little details can often jam up otherwise world-changing plans.
Though still nominally premier, Christy Clark knows her government’s days are numbered. If she doesn’t resign, the BC Liberals will be toppled by a non-confidence motion when the provincial legislature reassembles in June.
