“Elon Musk Day” was trending on Twitter yesterday as many, including myself, celebrated him on 4/20, but what wasn’t planned was oil prices crashing to $0. Actually, oil went past $0 and into negative territory.
A little more than 4 years ago, I published an article about why people loved Elon Musk so much. Given that it’s still #ElonMuskDay in California, it seemed like a good time to repost this article. Here it is:
Nowadays, there’s a commemoration on the calendar for just about anything you can think of — from important observances such as Earth Day (April 22) and National Drive Electric Week (Sep 26—Oct 4, 2020) to trivial tributes such as National Bubble Wrap Day and Static Electricity Day. So, it’s inconceivable that such an influential and revered visionary as Elon Musk shouldn’t be honored with his own official day.
