The Carbon Trust announced on Tuesday that it was launching BLUE PILOT, a large-scale demonstration project which seeks to reduce the costs and underwater noises of offshore wind construction as part of the larger Offshore Wind Accelerator.
The Carbon Trust has been appointed to run the UK Government’s £9.2 million Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator, which was announced back in January as a way to help UK industry find specific ways to begin partaking in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
