Carbon Emissions Fee Proposed By Environmental Groups In Washington, DC

Climate activists in Washington DC are advocating for a law that would impose a fee on carbon emissions. The money raised would be paid out to the citizens of the district, help fund clean energy initiatives and lower property taxes on businesses. Supporters say it would promote job growth while lowering emissions.
