The Blauwwind Consortium announced at the end of June that it had reached financial close on the Borssele III/IV wind farms set to be constructed in the Dutch North Sea with a total installed capacity of 731.5 megawatts (MW).

A consortium made up of Shell, Van Oord, Eneco, and Mitsubishi/DGE have been awarded the concession to build the Borssele III and IV wind farms, amounting to 700 MW, at a new record low cost of €54.5/MWh.
