World Bank Bringing Solar Power to Over 1 Million Homes, Shops in Rural Bangladesh
The World Bank’s International Development Association’s RERED program has brought solar power to more than 300,000 homes and small businesses in rural Bangladesh. With the addition of another $172 million credit facility, the IDA and its RERED partners intend to bring that to over a million.
