Vauxhall Is Working On Secret Electric Corsa
Vauxhall might not be on everyone’s lips in the US, but in the UK it’s an everyday affair. The Opel Corsa was reworked by Vauxhall when GM owned all companies, but is now part of Groupe PSA.

It was with a mixture of anxiety, and excitement, that I realised, about three years ago, that used EVs, were now available to buy, at an affordable price, and, which would serve my purposes. At the time, I was not totally sure that an EV would really suit me, and be practical, so, I was reticent to spend much money in buying one.
Daimler’s little Smart ED, the electric version of the Smart car, is now the only version of the car in the US. Today, the ED goes electric-only in Europe as well.
Not that long ago, only a few electric cars were on the market. Nowadays, there are a few dozen. We certainly have a few favorites here on CleanTechnica, but every plug-in car really has its own selling points. I’m sure I don’t have a comprehensive list of these in my head, and many of the points are definitely as subjective as opinions about music or movies, but below are many of my thoughts on why I’d recommend various plug-in models.

There have now been more than 480,000 plug-in electric vehicles sold worldwide by the Renault-Nissan Alliance, as of the end of the first half of 2017, going by a new press release from the Alliance.
How much range do people need? Various studies have jumped into this topic, but I don’t recall seeing anyone survey electric car drivers themselves. So, in our new 93-page electric car driver report, we asked different types of EV drivers across two continents what their range requirements and expectations were for their next EVs.
Norway is like a lab experiment for electric transport. Crushing the electric car market share of any other country, Norway’s 30% or so EV share has been reached after more or less following the exponential growth trend that you see in theoretical charts like this one:
Aside from Tesla topping the US electric car sales chart (and my postulations about that), there were some other interesting stats and takeaways from March US electric car sales.
