What Changed In The EV Market In October?

We published 509 articles in October. It’s rather hard to read every single one — I’m not sure if anyone does, but I can tell you that I don’t have time for that and I’m the director and chief editor of the site! We publish weekly and monthly roundups of the most popular articles, but I’ve felt like something was still lacking. So, I’ve decided to jump into a couple of new monthly reports — one for electric vehicles (this one) and one for solar energy + stationary energy storage.

GreenWay’s EV Charging Leadership & Vision (CleanTechnica Exclusive)

Getting ready for our big “West Meets East” EV charging conference November 6–8 (in Warsaw, Poland) — part of our Cleantech Revolution Tour conference series — I’ve been interviewing presenters and panelists. Below is an interview with Rafał Czyżewski, CEO of GreenWay Infrastructure Poland. As you can see, he offered detailed and insightful answers on the Polish and broader European EV markets.

Next Generation of EV Charging (#Electrifying Webinar with Peter Badik, GreenWay)

For years, it has been clear — electric car customers want superfast (not just “fast”) charging available for long-distance travel. It has also been clear that only Tesla has looked out for its customers in regards to this. It wasn’t until this year that any other charging companies really started offering products capable of this, and there still aren’t any electric cars on the market that could charge more than 100 kW anyway — hence the lack of supply of non-Tesla superchargers.

Electric Car Life 101

Electric cars — great, fun, quick, clean, smooth, quiet, convenient to charge at home and work. But wait, what’s life like with an electric car? How do you charge? Where do you charge? What do you need to charge? How do you protect the most valuable component of the car — the battery?

Tesla Superchargers vs … Ugh

First of all, let me say that if anyone else creates a superfast charging network anything close to Tesla’s, I’ll be one of the first people to cheer it on and I may cheer it more loudly and broadly than anyone else. My goal is to stimulate the transition to zero-emissions transport as quickly as possibly, not to loyally attach my dreams to one company over every other one because I like the logo. Companies that do good stuff deserve to get praised and rewarded.

Cleantech Revolution — EV Leaders, Tesla Shuttles, Cleantech Entrepreneurship & Investing

CleanTechnica’s next Cleantech Revolution Tour is approaching, and it is packed with EV and clean energy leaders from around Europe.

Starting in Berlin (Germany) on June 27 (special networking activities), continuing on June 28 in Berlin (panel discussions and presentations), offering shuttle rides from Berlin to Wroclaw in a Tesla (first come, first served), and ending on June 29 in Wroclaw, Poland (panel discussions and presentations), the Berlin + Wroclaw edition of the 2017 Cleantech Revolution Tour — The Future Is Now: Surf The Cleantech €-Wave — will be focused on how to best invest your time and money into the cleantech future.

Revolution Returns — CleanTechnica Conferences In Berlin, Wroclaw, Warsaw, & Lodz

CleanTechnica and GridHub jointly organized three conferences last year — in Berlin (Germany), Leipzig (Germany), and then Wroclaw (Poland). We had wonderful attendees, fascinating presentations and panel discussions, great partners, and a ton of fun. So, we decided to launch a big series of conferences in the coming year to keep the cleantech inspiration rolling.
