The upcoming Kia Soul EV 64 kWh has just received its official EPA rating of 243 miles (391 km) of range (combined cycle). This is a huge improvement over its previous 111 mile (179 km) range. It has a decent showing on the highway cycle too — 211 miles (340 km). The Soul now joins its Korean siblings as a great all-round capable vehicle.
Kia has unveiled the 2020 Kia Soul EV, giving it much improved range based on the same great battery and powertrain as its younger Korean siblings. Once again, the Hyundai–Kia due is showing its ability to make compelling and affordable EVs.
The German plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) market grew 31% in July, to 5,617 registrations, with BEVs growing faster (+39%) than PHEVs (+28%). In 2018, fully electric cars are now reaching 1% market share on their own and so are plug-in hybrids, resulting in a total PEV share of 2%.

The classic British car brand has enjoyed a cult-like following for decades, and the move to electrified MGs promises to amplify that following.
